I’d say that this photograph describes a time that I am much closer to in spirit than the one that I currently occupy. I could go the rest of my life without seeing a computer or a television or an iphone and be perfectly content. And yet, here I find myself; on the threshold of another social media network inherently designed to waste time, distract, and allow us to exercise absurd amounts of trivial, ego-centric behavior.
I am now promptly going to start posting videos of kittens.
